In this highly popular annual event, “Hanatouro (December, March)”, the city’s historical streets and sites of cultural heritage are linked together by walkways bathed in the glow of unique traditional Japanese lanterns, giving an extra touch of magic to the wonder of winter Kyoto.
Carrying on from last year, the ‘Kyoto Restaurant Winter Special’, which allows you to enjoy exclusive cuisine at special prices, and the ‘Maiko Event’, which gives you chance to actually meet and take photos together with Maiko, are also to be held. Be sure to take advantage of these exclusive opportunities to experience Kyoto culture.

교토시에서는 올해도 외국인 여행객들을 위한 특별한 캠페인을 실시합니다.
매년 큰 인기를 모으고 있는 이벤트 ‘화등로(花燈路: 12월, 3월)’ 때는 역사적인 문화유산과 거리를 일본 특유의 등불로 장식한 길로 연결하여 겨울 교토의 신비로운 매력을 더욱 빛냅니다.
작년에 이어 특별요리를 특별한 가격으로 제공하는 ‘교토 레스토랑 겨울 스페셜’과 마이코(舞妓)를 실제로 만나고 기념 촬영을 할 수 있는 마이코에 관한 스페셜 이벤트도 개최합니다. 평상시에는 구경하지 못하는 체험을 하실 수 있는 좋은 기회입니다.
